Headers
Vanilla provides you with seven built-in, clean, stylish header choices. It also allows you to use your own custom image as a header, either through the use of RWMultitool or by adding your custom image to the theme's content itself.

Sidebar
You can place the sidebar on the right or the left, or hide it entirely.

You are also able to place the sidebar at the top of the content area in a quote bubble-like box. The quote bubble background is customizable with the color picker.

The blog archives, which normally appear in the sidebar, are hidden when the sidebar is placed at the top.

The content area for the sidebar width on the left and right sides is 245 px wide.

Content is king
The content area of the Vanilla theme is fixed.

The content widths are as follows:

With Sidebar left or right
• 525 px

Without Sidebar
• 825 px

Slogan
The slogan appears in Vanilla's header below the site title.

Background
Our Vanilla theme offers a variety of backgrounds for your site design. Everything from gritty brown texture to blue stripes, black and white wood, and much more.

Vanilla includes 14 background styles in total, including the ability to use the RapidWeaver color picker to choose a solid background color that suits your taste.

Menu style
Vanilla allows you to pick from 4 styles for your site navigation's background:

• Translucent Black
• Translucent Gray
• Solid Black
• Solid Gray


Site search
We've included a a site search option in Vanilla. It is found in the Breadcrumb Container Variation.

To use the site-wide search you will need to be sure that your site's base URL is set up in the Site Setup pane. Without doing so, the search feature will not work.

Also note that the search feature uses Google to search your site. Your site must be indexed by Google for this search to return any results.

This site-wide search is located in the translucent bar above the footer. This area is the breadcrumb container. You can choose to display your breadcrumb trail here or to hide it, or use the site search instead. Only one of these options can be chosen at once.

Colors
This theme integrates RapidWeaver's color picker and theme styles. Using the color picker, you can easily edit the look and feel of your site. All without ever touching any code!

Font selection
Choose from a series of different font styles to give your site a personal touch.

We've provided 5 fonts to choose from: Georgia, Helvetica, Helvetica Neue, Times and Lucida Grande. This font style is applied throughout the page, but can be changed from page to page.
