Overview
Our Lime theme contains a very large selection of theme variations, allowing you to quickly and easily customize your site with just a few clicks. It even includes the use of ExtraContent.
Here is a brief rundown of the theme's variations and features:
Lime allows you to use ExtraContent in designing your site. You can watch our ExtraContent usage video in the preview section (click the magnifying glass icon above). It is great for beginners as well as those who may have used ExtraContent in the past.

Our Lime theme contains a very large selection of theme variations, allowing you to quickly and easily customize your site with just a few clicks. It even includes the use of ExtraContent.
Here is a brief rundown of the theme's variations and features:
- Six content width options, ranging from 600 px up through 1,100 px. The default width if 900 px
- Ten header backgrounds, including the ability to use the RapidWeaver Color Picker to choose a solid color
- Eight different header overlays which allow you to better customize the look of your site. Overlays default to being not visible
- Six blank header overlays for use with RWmultitool
- Four header content / height options, which include the ability to use ExtraContent in the header
- Two additional ExtraContent areas (in addition to the header option). One is just below the header, the other in the footer.
- Nine bold menu style choices.
- The sidebar can be placed on either the right- or left-hand side of the site, or hidden altogether. Default is on the right-hand side
- Five different blog badge styles. The default is a stylish star.
- Ability to add extra style to the sub menu bar with a riveted look.
- Ability to add the page's title to the top of the content area. Defaults to being hidden
- Sixteen different color picker options. These are detailed in the variations section (click the eyedropper icon above).
Lime allows you to use ExtraContent in designing your site. You can watch our ExtraContent usage video in the preview section (click the magnifying glass icon above). It is great for beginners as well as those who may have used ExtraContent in the past.

- Ability to use ExtraContent to place content just above your main content and sidebar (myExtraContent2)

- The Gyro Stacks plug-in from Joe Workman pairs well with Lime's ExtraContent, allowing you to put wonderful slideshows into Lime's header area.

The Lime theme provides you with a good deal of flexibility in how your site's content is displayed to your visitors. We use ExtraContent to allow you to place content in natural spaces such as a header, footer, or just between the header and the main content area. Width
Lime allows you to choose from 6 different content widths. You can choose from 600 px, 700 px, 800 px, 900 px, 1,000 px and 1,100 px. The theme defaults to 900 px.
Headers
Our Lime theme has 9 different professionally designed header backgrounds built-in as well as the ability to use the RapidWeaver color picker to choose your own custom color.
Lime also lets you choose between three different header heights: 200 px, 250 px (default) and 300 px. You can also choose to have a variable height header for using ExtraContent in the header area.
Headers Overlays
In addition to this great selection of header styles we've also included 8 header overlays. Everything from cosmic looking bokeh effects to gallery style lights.
Includes 6 blank header overlays for use with RWmultitool. These 6 blanks are for use with the 3 fixed header heights. The blank overlay images are 1,200 px x 300 px.
Sidebar
In this theme you're able to toggle the sidebar on and off on a page by page basis, allowing you to hide or show it when and where you need it. You can choose to place the sidebar of either the right- or left-hand side of the theme or hide it altogether.
Blog style
You can choose from 5 different blog badge styles to give you blog entries a little for pop. You can see some of the various blog badges we offer in the screen shots for the Lime theme.
Color picker
This theme makes heavy use of RapidWeaver's color picker. Using the color picker, you can easily edit the look and feel of your site. All without ever touching any code!

Site logo
When placing a logo in the Site Setup pane in RapidWeaver your logo will appear in the header, on the right-hand side.
Page title
Lime allows you to toggle a page title on and off on a per-page basis.
Headers
Lime also lets you choose between three different header heights: 200 px, 250 px (default) and 300 px. You can also choose to have a variable height header for using ExtraContent in the header area.

Site logo
When placing a logo in the Site Setup pane in RapidWeaver your logo will appear in the header, on the right-hand side.

Navigation
The navigation system used in Lime is a split navigation system. The main parent level menu items are located horizontally at the top of the site with big bold menu items. The child level items are located horizontally below the header, just above your content. This allows for one main level of navigation and one child level of navigation.
The stylish menu system in the Lime theme can be changed to any one of the nine different styles in the variations portion of the page inspector.
You can also dress up the sub menu navigation bar for the child level menu items with a rivet design.
Breadcrumb
The breadcrumb is a polished, stylish design that helps users easily navigate their way through your site. To use it you must toggle the breadcrumb on in the site setup.
Plug-in compatibility
We have tested Lime with a number of different plug-ins from the major 3rd-party plug-in developers. Below is a list of these plug-ins. This does not mean other plug-ins will or will not work with Lime, just that we've not tested them ourselves. With the vast number of plug-ins out there we just cannot test each and every one of them ourselves.

This theme makes use of ExtraContent. If you're already familiar with ExtraContent this should be quite exciting to you. If you're new to ExtraContent, you'll soon be quite excited. For those familiar with ExtraCentent: The ExtraContent area in the header is the myExtraContent1 and the ExtraContent area in the footer is the myExtraContent2.

(Q.) Is the width of the Lime theme adjustable?
(A.) The Lime theme does provide several different content widths. See the product page's variation's tab for more information on the available sizes. Click the Eye Dropper icon above.
(Q.) I'm interested in building my own custom header overlay for my site. What are the dimensions for the header overlay images so I can create my own?
(A.) The header overlay blanks for Lime are editable in RWmultitool. They are built at 1,200 px by 300 px to. For more information on RWmultitool, visit their site at http://www.rwmultitool.com. A free trial copy of RWmultitool is included with your purchase.
(Q.) What is a good way to make my own custom headers?
(A.) If you're a pro you can open up the theme itself and edit the theme header overlays in PhotoShop. Most people will however opt for the easier method. We recommend using RWmultitool to edit your header overlays. It is a simple tool made for this specific purpose. We've added in support for this tool in the Lime theme.
(Q.) I don't see the breadcrumb container text displaying. How do I turn it on?
(A.) To use it you must toggle the breadcrumb on in the site setup.
(Q.) How do I use my logo with the Lime theme?
(A.) You must place your logo in the graphics well in the Site Setup pane of RapidWeaver for it to display in the theme.
(Q.) Once I've purchased my theme and downloaded it, how do I install it in RapidWeaver?
(A.) To install your new theme, double-click the theme icon. In this case the name of the theme icon will be Lime.rwtheme. RapidWeaver will install the theme and then pop up a dialog box informing you that the theme is installed and that you now need to quit and restart RapidWeaver.
After exiting and then restarting RapidWeaver, you will find your theme installed and ready to use inside the theme drawer. Press Option-Command-T to bring up the theme drawer.
(Q.) What browsers are compatible with sites built using this theme?
(A.) We pride ourselves on being compatible with many browsers, especially the modern browsers that your visitors are using. We fully support Safari, FireFox, Cruz, Opera and Windows Internet Explorer. There are some options that work only in the more modern, standards compliant browsers. We outline any of these differences in the Variations section.
Recently Microsoft released Internet Explorer 8, which is a huge improvement over both previous versions (6 and 7). In doing so they've also announced that update notices for users of both IE 6 and IE 7 will be sent out via Windows' updater, helping to get these people using a modern browser.
Being that Internet Explorer 6 is about 6 - 7 years old now and no longer supported by Microsoft, we're dropping support for this browser as well.
We have been using Internet Explorer 8 in our testing of this theme and find it to be a huge leap forward for Microsoft, and we encourage all PC users to upgrade. You won't regret it.
