Header
The Executive theme has 14 different professionally designed headers built-in. It also features 5 blank headers that can be manipulated and customized with RWmultitool.

Executive also allows you to choose from 3 different header heights: 145 px, 225 px and 300 px.

You are also able to use a solid color of your choosing through the RapidWeaver Color Picker.

Title and slogan
You can change the alignment of your site title and slogan within the Executive theme. You can choose from Left, Center or Right justification for both.

Both the title and slogan have a variety of fonts to choose from. For more information on the font's available, check the Font Selection section on this page.

You can also choose to place the title above the menu or inside the header area.

In addition you can change the size of the title of your site. The available sizes include: 34 px, 44 px, 56 px and 64 px.

Background
Executive offers you 8 different background styles to choose from.

The theme also gives you the ability to use the RapidWeaver Color Picker to choose a solid color background of any color you'd like.

We've also provided the option to choose from 4 different background accent graphics (or none at all) to give the background that added pop.

Width
The Executive theme allows you to modify the width of your site, choosing from 3 different sizes: 904 px, 840 px or 740 px.

Sidebar
In this theme you're able to place the sidebar in 2 different locations, or turn it off altogether.

You can place the sidebar on the right- or left-hand side of the site.

Do note however that when turning off the sidebar it will also hide any related sub menus for that page.

Site logo
When placing a logo in the Site Setup pane in RapidWeaver your logo will appear at the top of the Sidebar. In addition you can customize your site by using custom headers. For more information, see the Headers section on this page.

Menu
The Executive theme sports a split navigation menu system similar to that of our Aqua and Espresso themes.

The top level, or parent menu, is located horizontally beneath the header image.

Stylish menus are also a big part of Executive. You can choose from 8 different horizontal menu bar styles. Each one is professionally designed and eye catching.

Breadcrumb
The breadcrumb bar is a polished, stylish design that helps users easily navigate their way through your site.

Colors
This theme integrates RapidWeaver's color picker. Using the color picker, you can easily edit the look and feel of your site. All without ever touching any code!

Font selection
The Executive theme allows you to modify the font style for the Site Title and Slogan.

You're given the option of choosing from Junction, Graublau, Yanone Kaffeesatz, Helvetica, Georgia and Lucida Grande for the Title. Junction, Graublau, Helvetica, Georgia and Lucida Grande are available for the Slogan.

Junction, Graublau and Yanone Kaffeesatz are free fonts that we're making accessible to you via a font embedding technique title @font-face. This bit of code allows your site to use these slick fonts on the web without your visitors needing to have them installed on their computer.

The @font-face embedding is available on most modern browsers such as Safari and Firefox. Browsers such as Internet Explorer fall back to other fonts that are available to them.

Note: Fonts display differently across different operating systems and browsers. Compatible fonts have been chosen for other browsers. For instance, in Windows your users will see Arial instead of Helvetica, two fonts which are very similar.

Back to the future
Recently Microsoft released Internet Explorer 8, which is a huge improvement over both previous versions (6 and 7). In doing so they've also announced that update notices for users of both IE 6 and IE 7 will be sent out via Windows' updater, helping to get these people using a modern browser.

Being that Internet Explorer 6 is about 6 years old now and no longer supported by Microsoft, we're dropping support for this browser with the release of this theme. What does this mean for sites designed with this theme? It means that the sites you design with this theme will display in IE 6, but will not look identical to the way the site displays in other browsers. It also means that PNG images with transparent backgrounds will look slightly odd, with a tinted blue background. Other than this the site will not look messed up or disfigured in IE 6.

We have been using Internet Explorer 8 in our testing of this theme and find it to be a huge leap forward for Microsoft, and we encourage all PC users to upgrade. You won't regret it.
