Our Bold theme contains a large selection of theme variations, allowing you to easily customize your site with just a few clicks.
Here is a brief rundown of the theme's variations and features:
Bold allows you to use ExtraContent in designing your site. You can watch our ExtraContent usage video in the preview section (click the magnifying glass icon above). It is great for beginners as well as those who may have used ExtraContent in the past.

Menu system
The Bold theme sports a slick menu system. The main site menu is located in an expandable form at the top of the site. Your visitor simply clicks the menu handle and the menu unfurls. To make sure your users know where the main menu resides, approximately 3 seconds after the page loads an indicator appears next to the menu handle.

The submenu items appear in the sidebar through the use of a split-navigation system. Be sure to check it out on the live preview page.

Site Styles
The Bold theme takes a new approach to styling your site. We've provided 11 different color palette options. Selecting one of these palette's from the Site Style variation in the Page Inspector chooses an overall look for your site. It sets up the colors for not only main element items like the menu and title area, but also details such as the site's links color and sub-menu items.
You can use the same Site Style palette on every page, or mix it up and use a different one on a page-by-page basis. We've gone through the trouble of color matching everything for you so whether you're a newbie or an expert RapidWeaver user you'll get a create color palette each time!

Width
Bold allows you to choose from 5 different content widths. You're given the option to make your site's content container either 800 px, 900 px, 1,000 px, 1,100 px or 1,200 px wide.
Headers
This theme has 5 blank headers built-in for use with RWmultitool to create your own custom headers.
Bold also allows you to use one of the ExtraContent areas as a header area.
Background
We offer 6 highly polished graphical backgrounds with the Bold theme. A dark linen, tiny and medium sized divots, two bokeh inspired backgrounds as well as a wood texture. We also allow you the option of simply using the RapidWeaver color picker to choose a color of your own.
Sidebar
In this theme you're able to toggle the sidebar on and off on a page by page basis, allowing you to hide or show it when and where you need it. You can also choose to place the sidebar of either the right- or left-hand side of the site.
Blog style
You can choose from 4 different blog badge styles to give you blog entries a little pop or turn it off altogether.
Font choices
Bold allows you to pick from 6 different font styles for you site as well as 3 body font sizes (12 px, 14 px and 16 px).
Color picker
This theme makes use of RapidWeaver's color picker. Using the color picker, you can easily edit the look and feel of your site. All without ever touching any code! You can edit these areas of the theme with the color picker:

When placing a logo in the Site Setup pane in RapidWeaver your logo will appear in the top of the sidebar, just below the submenu.

Plug-in compatibility
We have tested Bold with a number of different plug-ins from the major 3rd-party plug-in developers. Below is a list of these plug-ins. This does not mean other plug-ins will or will not work with Bold, just that we've not tested them ourselves. With the vast number of plug-ins out there we just cannot test each and every one of them ourselves.
