Adventure's blog can be styled using one of 9 stylish blog badge graphics we've included, or toggled off altogether.
We've also added something to the Adventure theme's blog settings not yet seen in a RapidWeaver theme. You can choose to have your blog the normal, full-width of the content container as normal, or break them up into columns.
The columns stack the blog entries in nice neat stacks, fitting them best as is possible in the content container. When in the columns mode, the blog badges are disabled to make the best use of the space.
This columnized feature works great with blogs that use the RapidWeaver summary feature in the blog page.
This feature is designed to work with the RapidWeaver blog page style only.
We highly suggest using the Disque commenting option in RapidWeaver for your blog's comments
Background
We've included some really clean, cool background styles. There's 6 backgrounds including a light linen design, two light colored grainy patterns and two three grid patterns.
There's also a ton of background overlays as well, which lay on top of the clean, crisp backgrounds. The overlays include stains, paper fold, stripes, and more.
Site logo
When placing a logo in the Site Setup pane in RapidWeaver your logo will appear at the top of the sidebar. Your logo will be cropped to fit the width of the sidebar.
Sidebar
You can choose to locate your sidebar on either the right- or left-hand side of your site, or hide it on a page-by-page basis.

The header can also contain a few different types of content: Site Slogan, Page Title or ExtraContent. Or you can choose to hide the header all together.

The header's ExtraContent area is myExtraContent1.
The header's height can also be adjusted. The heights available are 190, 240 and 300 px.
The header area also animates into place as the page is loaded, and the visitors to your site can shrink the header up on their own. This latter feature can be toggled on and off in the theme's page variations.
Footer
The header is not the only one that gets to have fancy ExtraContent areas.
Adventure's footer comes with the ability to have a variable height, ExtraContent area as well. It can be toggles on and off on a page-by-page basis, just as the ExtraContent area for the Header can be. This EC area is myExtraContent3.
Extra
Two ExtraContent area's not enough? We didn't think so in this theme's case. You can also insert extra content just below the header and above the content and side bar. We call this the Middle ExtraContent area. It is myExtraContent2.

Back to the future
Microsoft has dropped its support of Internet Explorer 6, and in doing so its market share has dropped to the low single digits. This has allowed us to drop IE 6 from browsers we support as well. We currently support IE 7 and 8 as far as Microsoft Browsers are concerned. Once Microsoft releases Internet Explorer 9 we will drop support for IE 7.
In the Adventure theme we've included detector that will suggest a newer, modern browser to users who visit your site using one of these outdated themes (like IE6). The user can dismiss the very small message or choose to upgrade. It is their choice.
