Aqua Update v1.2 [updated x2]
Tuesday April 14, 2009 | Filed in: Themes
Update:
Some users have been asking if they will need to install the v.1.1 update for this one to work. The simple answer is no. But if you want to receive the benefits of the v.1.1 update you will need to run the v1.1. updater BEFORE running the v.1.2 updater. I recommend running both myself.
Update 2:
As one user points out, I accidentally overwrote the v.1.1 update, so to make things easier I’ve added in the colors.css file in the v.1.2 update, hence combining both the v.1.1 and 1.2 updates into this one package. This updater is your one stop Aqua update.
I've made some more updates to the Aqua theme to correct some bugs found since its last release. All Aqua theme owners should grab this updater. Users who purchased the Aqua theme after April 14, 2009 do not need to install the v1.2 updater.
We're offering an updater application to automatically correct these found bugs in the theme. Simply download the updater below, and run it. The updater patches only the affected files within the theme.
Version 1.2
• Updates IEPNGFIX. This javascript allows Internet Explorer 6 to properly display PNG images correctly. Both those used in the theme those added in the users content. Latest version of IEPNGFIX is quicker it seems as well.
• Updates menu tab coding to allow for proper display in FireFox 2.0. Previously the tabs only displayed fully in Safari, FireFox 3.0, IE6 and IE7. FireFox 2.0 Now has no problems with them either.
Download the updater here:

After running the updater you'll need to quit and restart RapidWeaver. If you've published a site using Aqua you'll have to republish all your site's files. You can see how to accomplish this by watching the following walk-thru video found on the Realmac Software site:
Watch the walk-thru:
http://www.realmacsoftware.com/support/video-tutorials/re-publish/index.php
The internal files that are affected during the update are:
Theme.Plist
index.html
styles.css
colors.css
Adds Scripts Folder to theme, too.
If you’re a power user and have modified any of these files internally within the theme, those changes will be overwritten by the installer. If you want to maintain your changes you’ll have to copy your changes and reapply them to the updated files afterwards.

I am really happy to announce both a new theme a huge sale!
Before we get to the sale I’d first like to introduce you to our latest theme — Aqua.
Good to the last drop!
Aqua is a classy RapidWeaver theme, perfect for a portfolio, small business, blog, photo album and much more. This theme packs a ton of options, which makes it quite easy to customize your site with just a few clicks of the mouse.
It offers a huge variety of backgrounds, background overlays, headers, and much more. Aqua also features our first theme to have a split navigation.
I won’t ramble on here, instead jump on over to the product page to get a look at the new theme and to learn so much more! You can also check out a live preview site, featuring Aqua, as well as walk-thru videos.
Save a bundle!
We often get requests for a bundle of themes that includes every theme we sell. So, for a short time we will be offering a bundle that includes each and every theme that we currently sell, including our latest offering, Aqua.
Normally a bundle of this size would run well over $225.
Not for the next 3 days though!
You can get all of our themes in the Extreme Bundle promo for only $54.95. No, really. When the promotion ends, so does the bundle. We won’t be offering the bundle for sale after the countdown clock expires.
Check it out and hurry and get yours today.
Update:
We had a problem overnight (early Sunday morning) where the Extreme Bundle became unavailable for purchase via e-junkie’s servers. It has no been remedied and the bundle is available once again. Since it was offline for some time, and I received a lot of emails regarding it, I have extended the bundle for another 24 hours. I am sorry if this caused any one any sort of inconvenience.
Other new additions
Here are a couple of the other things we’ve added today.
• A Mac desktop featuring our Aqua icon
• An iPhone wallpaper featuring our Aqua icon
• New help and walk-thru videos
• Some new additions to our portfolio page, including Stacks, Partitions and Comic Zeal
